Eldar Harlequin

i like the limited nature of the scheme but some contrasting colour would help break it up. even it if was on the tabard or the gems. maybe a little dark lining would help break it up a little. also the darklining that is around the mohawk seems a little rougher than the rest of the mini (on the close up). very nice though

Really nice and as you said really different fromthe traditionnal harlequins. I don't know if you wanted that but it reminds me Silphid's version.

Great job. I have some of these models and they intimidate the bejeezus out of me to attempt but yours looks outstanding. I really like the dark gems (especially on the front).

I like the purple on the gems, but don't like it on the belt (?) hanging below it. A purple something on the mask would bring the eyes there (eyebrows, lips, something...)

Wow sweet lollipop... great colours on this one and i would go with generalpoleaxe at his comment, stroke in some orange shades in the darkest blues of your shadow and it will make even more pop! Crazy and very cool piece!

Keep on happy painting!

Thanks for comments. I'm happy to see that there are people who also like this rather unusual color scheme. People usually expect namely harlequins to be much more colorful, so it's quite understandable that this kind of scheme is not for everyone's liking.

Nice job. I don't think it's the color scheme that people are commenting on specifically, but the lack of contrast. I happen to like the color scheme, but it looks a little flat, lacking depth. Some warmer shades in the shadows would help that.

Lovely Mini. Like Sherdy I'm a bit intimidated by the thought of painting the Harlequins, mine are sill in their packing. As suggested maybe a little more contrast would be beneficial but you have an excellent painted miniature as is.

Been wondering about the best way to approach some old harlequins I've been stripping. This piece is a real inspiration!

Would vote, but this is a link to the picture, not the page...
