i currentl have a unit of 18 Guardians with scatter lasers 1 wave serpent with scatter lasers and shuriken cannon. i just recently purchased the battle force and thus have 10 more guardians to be assembled 1 weapons platform 1 more wave serpent 8 dire avengers and a war walker. i was hoping you guys could help me choose weapons loadout for the second platform and the war walker (im thinking star cannons for the walker and bright lance for the platform) also if some 1 could tell me if i can use both wave serpents that would be great cause im a n00b when it comes to eldar

Personally I\'d hesitate to put any dedicated anti tank heavy weapon in a normal infantry squad. If the AT weapon fires at a tank the rest of the squads firepower is wasted as they will likely not be able to damage a vehicle. Conversely if the squad fires at infantry the high power of the AT weapon is wasted on soft targets.

I run scatters on all my guardian squads (I run four) because of their low BS and the high rate of fire. With four shots your bound to hit something!

I usually put Missle Launchers or Starcannons on the Serpents because they are twin linked and with the few shots these weapons get its nice to have a sure-shot.

Wave Serpents are a Transport Option.
So basically, if you have the points and a squad to ride in it, you can have one for every transportable squad.

I started collecting my Eldar army before I even knew how to play 40K. So I had trouble deciding which HW to put on the platform(s). My solution was a purchase of a few small magnets. I placed one on each HW, and one on the platform, and now when I play 40k, I just change the weapons when needed. You can do the same thing with tanks, vypers or any other stuff which comes with multiple weapon choices.

Undave, Guardian\'s weapons are notoriously short ranged, so no real problem with wasted shots since they will likely almost never be shooting their weapons unless they are charging immediately afterwards. If that\'s the case, you have much worse problems than whether you wasted a couple shots.
