Nice! I just did a similar conversion for my Autarch on jetbike with a laser lance and bike-mounted Reaper Launcher.

Well, the Eldar bike looks really good. A lot of it will depend on how you do the rider. I ended up using Dark Eldar legs and sculpting the armor pads with gs. How are you doing yours?

The DE bike looks cool too, but I am wondering where the engine is?

There is a big ugly mold line on the (gas tank?) right in front of the seat.

As an old airbrusher, that tank is begging for a flame job.

Im sure hoping your talking about painting it :p

What critism do you need, they look pretty good so far, mold lines not withstanding, nice sleek look, actually look fast rather than the old ones.

Well first, I am male, and appreciate ego stroking, so one that count, thank you! :D

On the Dark Eldar one, there is ALOT of work to be done, proper sitting rider, engine, spiky bits...long way to go, actually kind of an afterthought from making my first of (3?) sleeker longer (1/2 in!!) and faster looking eldar jetbikes.

I was hoping for some inspiration with regard to handlebars, footpedals, and if there were any bits that to your minds seemed to be missing.

I have since decided on the handlebar position. I\'m going to add to the speed look by inverting them like flight-sticks. and adding GS fire buttons. I\'ll add a pic in a minute.
And for the rider, I want a Gaurdian. SO I am carving the heck out of one.
The arms aren\'t done yet, I need to position the handles. I will Blu-tac some details and the handles in when I take the pics.
Thank You guys for responding.
I want to know that people are interested before I continue a WIP, no point if no one is into it...;)

what kind of scale are thses things? Guardian? like a 28 mm space marine? Like a 6\" Star Wars or like an old 12\" GI Joe?

@Roger ~ I don\'t think Fuzzy dice would be practical at the speed they go. I\'m trying to move more toward jet and away from bike.
Not just a bike that flies, humans make those. But jets that maneuver like bikes, that more akin to a race that once rules the stars and fulfilled their every whim.

@ Airhead ~ 28mm (well, GW \"heroic\") Eldar (Space Elves)

Ok Current:

Side View added bits with Blu-tac, positioned partially converted Gaurdian.

A look at some putty experiments to fill holes:

Will likely use bits from eldar flamer and melta gun to make better looking exhausts. :p

AND
For those interested, Here is the current DE Reaver:

Praise? Failings?

talk at me - :D

AND NO MORE MOLD LINE COMMENTS!!
I will get to them, I PROMISE!! I just want the construction completed so I don\'t polish up and then glue over it anyway.
Thank You for your mold line awareness...lol
Also, I will greenstuff after I get the mold lines. I ain\'t there yet. one thing at a time. I am trying to focus and actually finish this one...lol LMAO lol

Personally, the eldar rider looks like his torso is too far forward, almost like he needs to be rotated a bit backwards, and more up right, or at least moved back on the bike.

Otherwise cool.

i\'d either lean him back a little more, or shorten the stick that connects the \"flight stick\" to the bike, he looks like he stopped too short now and is going over the handlebars.

don\'t use your normal files on the mold lines as they are leaving marks.

both dragons reach and ritual have given me this tip in the past, use wet and dry paper glued onto a coctail stick.
it is super smooth and won\'t leave a mark.

the idea is great mate, just a little more prep work before you start to paint will pay big dividends.
