Ah yes saw this already and voted. Apart from the blood being a little too bright the mini is awesome. I love the scheme.

Love it Fil! Very clean, the palette is excellent and the little shifts in colour are a nice touch.

I don\'t know what to think of the blood though. It stands out very much being a warmer red because of the cold colourscheme. But trying to imagine the piece without the blood it might be a bit duller and not as interesting as you combine something sombre but calm with something gory and ferocious which leads to Eldrad feeling more dangerous.. So yeah. I think the blood was a good idea. But maybe as suggested you could make it a bit darker.

Voted a 9.

cheers for the coments guys/gals.
on the topic of blood im not great with photo shop and dont know how it works really other than resizing and the basics but the blood has come out a lot brighter than it actually is...it may be my camara. the idea though averlorn got spot on, i wanted a cool eldrad with one contrasting spot colour ie the red gore.

cheers once again.

If the blood is not as bright in real life this should look extremely cool! I really like using dark, muted colours and one bright colour to bring contrast! But, red is a notoriously difficult colour to photograph.

avery nice.. how much? :D
i like the blood fil, you don\'t see it much on eldar figs but it works very well on this fig with the dark colours. the \'minty\' bone looks great also mate!
very, very good work bud! Daz

ooOOOooh, vrrry nice! But strange how blue it looks, it\'s much more green irl, no? Anyway, great work, and I too like the blood.

I like it a lot. Very nice limited palette and I am into the stark contrast of the blood. The black is perhaps a little lacking in depth, but I only say that because you are at a very high level of painting and I always have to find some kind of constructive criticism to throw in!

Talking of constructive criticism, how come you \'Eavy Metal guys only seem to come out of the woodwork to comment on each other\'s stuff? Couldn\'t you just do that at work? Show the plebes some love people and throw out some of your mad skillz at the less accomplished painters here!

Lovely!

Very nice colour scheme and paint job. Though, I\'m not a fan of the hockey puck base. It\'s my intuition that a wider, thinner base would suit this figure better.
