Hi naoned, your elf hero looks really great, I really like the colour scheme, it is very unusual and looks excellent, good harmony of colours. The light brownish/bone colour you have painted the robes, shield etc. is particularly good, very warm and rich, and pleasant to look at. The details you have painted look great, and the base is good too, it creates a good setting and atmosphere.

For criticisms, I think maybe the face is lacking some depth; it needs some small amounts of darker shading in the deepest recesses, and perhaps some more slight highlights. You should try to smooth out the layers when you do this as well, it looks just a little bit rough. And the metallics might be better with some sharper, brighter but very thin and small highlights to make the metal a bit brighter and more defined.

Great job, good luck in the competition!

He looks really good, the colours are perfect, and the freehand looks well done too and the wolf pelt is very nice too, i can\'t really offer any more critisisams than Automaton already has, without hugely blown up pictures anyway, oh and just brilliant work on the base ;).

Let us know how you get on at the competition.

Joe.

thank for your help guys.
yes, it\'s hard for me to work the face. I will follow your advices and shade some deepest parts.
For the coulour sheme, I usually painted dark elfs, so i like the purple colour. For the bleached bone colour, I \'ve seen a mini on CMON painted with this colour and with brown lines. So, I would have to test... and i\'m happy for the result. The bleached bone is very easy to work (with snakebite and white).

This mini was the 2nd model i painted.
the first version is:
Here
It was painted for a friend and I loved to paint it, so I paint a 2nd for me.
