No bids on e-bay so far. He will be lucky to get his money back for the miniature with this quality of painting. The CMON score is way too high. It is for me, at best, a superior tabletop mini.
Once again we see the misuse of the expression \"propainter\".

I think whoever did it has a good handle on painting technique. A nice light touch but the overall color scheme is a bit lack lustre. I\'d give it an 8.

at first i thought a 7, because of the interesting armor tone. several things bump it down for me. the base is poorly executed, the osl doesnt work, and it looks like goo. the tilt of the mini, it looks like its falling backwards, except for the static cape. the axes - they look flat and have some really nasty mould lines. poor distinction between the boots and cape - in several areas i see distict overpainting (as is evident in other areas as well eg the inside of the left boot). originality, doesnt have much - seems like a basic chaos warrior with some tried and true techniques.

end result: a 6, just better than TT.

clause: i tend to be harsh (i typically under rate my own minis), but i attempted to evaluate as fairly as possible. in reality i think this mini would score around a 7. that it has a score above 8, which i reserve for works that are CLEARLY brilliant (i.e. no mold lines), concerns me.
