Embarrasing Model builds

Hey, I built this Death Korps of Krieg dude a little while ago. He was the last one i assembled out of a 10 man squad, and I was short on a nice mix of arms and other excuses but, DAMN! What the hell was I thinking?

What is this guys story? Rifle slung and apparently running at the enemy with a grenade and doing a little \"Air drumming\" with his off hand.

The special needs guardsmen running at the enemy tank ready to shove the grenade down the hatch maybe? \"Go get \'em Kozinski, we\'ll ahhh... we\'ll, uh... cover you... yeah, for sure.\".

I was wondering, anyone else have any less then stellar fig poses they\'ve built that they want to share?

lol perhaps hes out of ammo and charging the enemy whith courage and hutzphar and a bucket of idiocy!!, a few months ago on my stag do (paintballing) I did something very similar after being pinned in a ditch by a tower full of peeps, i ran out of ammo and rather than be picked of where i lay, i charged the tower screaming at the top of my lungs with a smoke greande in one hand and an empty gun in the other, as you can probably guess it didint end well lol i took 6 hits in the top of the head from about ten feet away 4 in the arm and several others it damn near knocked me out :rolleyes: (I very nearly made it to the tower from about 25 meters away with out being hit)

I agree with BigD put a CC weapon in his of hand dripping with gore :D

At first, I was going to correct you. Should be his ring finger.

But then realized you weren\'t trying to say have him married and committing suicide! lol

Nah he is going to stay as is. I do not hide my shame! He will be at the forefront of every action I every send these boys on. The first bullet will ALWAYS have his name on it and if the unit ever kills anything in HtH it will ALWAYS be him who gets his hands dirty. Poor guy.

-edit- though I do likethe ring idea. I will do it on the ring finger if I get to it! Good idear!

Anyone else wanna own up to posing a model as horribly as I did?

edit- Upon further consideration I think this terminator probably just got transferred over to being an assault Termie.

hehehe, \'tis so often the case. squad of minis...the first builds are the best, most dynamic but you always end up with some guy looking like he\'s playing a banjo :p

Your guy looks like he\'s playing darts lol

a friend of mine once did a CSM that was running and shooting two guns at different targets, \"schwarzenegger style\", the only problem was, he had modeled the arms at 180* from each other, bent at the albow (at about 45*) and had him look straight forward.

oh yeah, and the model was practically running with stiff legs.....

Ha! Thanks, I still think he does look goofy. My one smart ass friend said he reminds him of Steve Carrel in \"Anchor Man\" when they have the big brawl and Steve\'s Character pulls the pin on a grenade and just runs around screaming.

I think it\'s a pretty accurate assessment!

As for being our own harshest critics... I used to agree with you, until I started posting mini\'s on this site. Man you people are TOUGH to please:D

There\'s always going to be that guy who looks out of place in any squad for whatever reason. For example one of my blunders involves a warrior staring at the ground, like there\'s a bunch of change he wants to pick up or something. It happens, and I\'ve noticed most people will never notice (or at least not comment) until you point it out.
