Emperor\'s Children Dreadnought Conversion

Another one I\'m finally setting aside as finished. This is the first major conversion I undertook and I\'m really happy with it. Unfortunately it\'s also the first piece I ever tried to use highlighting on -- so there\'s a LOT that I\'d like to go back and improve... but I\'m not going to strip it and start over.

Would love any final feedback.

I still don\'t like the extra arm much, but the gapping maw, the speaker, shield and wing motif look great. I really don\'t think it\'s as bad as you seem to think for saying it\'s your first highlighted mini.
The pose is cool too.

There are actually two arms - it\'s just hard to see the second. I have the big arm and one little one coming out of the body to pull people in to the maw.

Thanks for the kudos on the model too. It was the first piece I ever highlighted. I can still tell, because of more recent work (this is 6+ months old) that I painted, inked, and then, later, went in with ONLY PINK to do some highlights. Heh.

Turns out the image was too large - I had to resubmit :(

It was my first 8.0 too - at least for awhile - aw, shucks. Shows what I know though; I\'d given it a 5 and *maybe* a 5.5 for the conversion.

Looks really good. That s the only good thing about chaos conversions, especially for just gaming armies is that even if the paintjob is not very careful, they still look great!!! I really like your mindset on mini painting too... do it for fun, the rest does not matter!lol Go ahead and finish up your dark apostole, i really like that concept...

I like the conversion. The pic was a little pixelated so it was hard to make out the details but looks like a solid piece. Did the vote thing.
