Noneed you been hiding your light under a bush?
Some really good work you've got on this thread now just leave the women and the beer alone and you'll be fantastic
Nope, I'm just not very bright lol Im never gonna be great thanks to my wonky hand but I do ok. I dont use my Tongue or penis for painting so the women won't affect my talents lol
Behold some progress! got some more done on sevrin but also went back on the chest eagle as didn't feel it was working out so I have that to get sorted. I'm hoping to have this finished for the painting competition at Forgeworlds open day on the 03/04/11 so I better get a move on!
There are more photo's and other shennanigans on my blog!
so I thought I had finished this, entered it in the comp at the forgeworld open day then took these photos and realised I hadn't finished the book on the banner pole. Oops! Still not happy with the chest eagle either.
Also changed the weapon as couldnt get the force axe looking right, so used the grey knight force staff thingy, this was a completely original conversion, if some guy called george McStocker says he came up with it he's a liar ;-p plus it's all his fault I didn't win the competition lol
Tbh I'm not that bothered about not winning though I didn't think the winning model was the best one there, at least three other entries I would have picked over it (not counting mine lol). As this is gonna be used for gaming and not even a display piece I'm very happy (though not completely) with how it came out.
Looks really good. I never liked my moisture trap on the gun itself, i run mine on the regulator.I would turn tail and run from trying to hand paint that much yellow, my hat is off to you friend.
Well made a start on some other stuff, in particular to play around with some weathering techniques to make a change from my usual clean style. What follows is a very early WIP with more to follow soon.
Plus an update on my scythes in the not to distant future.
