Just got a Kickstarter update from West Wind Miniatures about the Empire of the Dead:Requiem sets.
There's some nice pieces coming out and Andy Coopers sculpting is getting better and better.
If you like Steampunk/Victoriana game miniatures (like me) you may well be tempted when these come out on general release.
And if you like to use miniatures in RPG's the Victorian servants will be very handy.
Personally the "Great Detective" and "Lord Godalming" (front row end pieces) I consider rather "Spiffy".

Oh and going by the description I was given, by the caster for parts of the Hansom Cab, that sounds like its going to be a beauty at well.

I've yet to see a mini that represents Mr. Hyde as the book describes him- he was supposed to be small and younger than Jekyll because he was an undeveloped part of him. When he started growing was the shock to the Dr. that made him stop taking the potion, but by that time it had built up in his system. I think the Fredric March 1931 version with Hyde as this exaggerated ape-man is what has lead up to the current image of Hyde as an ogre ala Extraordinary Gentlemen and VanHelsing. BUT! Consequently, the Frankenstein's Monster looks great because it defies the conventional image and goes back to the original- you don't need a flat top and bolts in the neck to make a good monster, the novel showed us that it was the doctor who was the real aberrant!
There seems to be all these great minis in the UK and I really wish the exchange rate would do something- but then I think the pound has always been more than the dollar, just like the US is more than the Canadian one. But maybe when there's an actual store or way to buy individual ones I can pick and choose a few- maybe getting the Inspector for my Dad who has read all the Holmes books and maintains his favorite was Basil Rathbone. :D
