hi,

i have finished both my wizards now (the first was a fire one) i spent a lot more time and effort on this one to make it look nice, and i hope it payed off. he is off to join the ranks of my army, which i slowy amassing ( about 1 model per week)
i would like to hear some constructive comments on how to improve him.

also i struggled to fill the joint lines on the cloak, one was filled with green stuff and sanded, but even that wasn\'t smooth, are there any good ways to do this?

Very nice freehand. That is going to be a spectacular army.

try milliput. mix the two parts together, fill the gap, then wipe down with a wet finger or tissue. Milliput is somewhat water soluble so the wipe-down should leave it smooth.

i love this guy, espcially the small details on the globes and the cloak :)

For all the effort you spent on him, a little more creating a standout base would make make a big differance in my opinion.

@wilks, i must admit i suck a bases and by the time i have got to the bese i really never bother, although i do really want to do a cool base.
