muy buenas... queria mostrarles esta miniatura que estoy pintando para una competencia que estoy llevando a cabo con un amigo... pretendemos pintar la misma miniatura para ver cual de los dos es mejor pintor.... las fotos:

Hello and welcome to the forums.
Think your skin looks pretty good, but maybe it could use an extra highlight in a very light color. Think that would bring the final shine to it.
Like the hair/beard color but I think it could also do with an extra light color just in the front and on the \"edges\", but you could also keep just the way it is.
Looking forward to your next pics

thx for comments... well i know the skin tone is kinda dead... and the final highlight was made with white so im thinking about using some red to make it look more \"alive\"...

naaa... I would glaze it with a red or a brown colour that will make it look more alive... btw, use some dich soap in the glaze, you get a smoother surface of the glaze that way ^^

Muy buenas,... despues de terminar con éxito las entregas finales del semestre en la universidad he logrado sacar un tiempo para hacer un pequeño avance (la parte de los anillos que \"enganchan\" la barba no está para nada terminada... y creo q me hace falta algo de trabajo en los nmm de los brazaletes):

Hello, after finishing (succesfully) the finals at school, i could spare some time for working a little bit on this mini... (the gold \"rings\" that hold the beard are not finished at all... and i think i should do some more highlights and maybe some glazes at the gold bracelets):

ya estoy arriesgando un poco más al utilizar nmm pero pues bueno... el que no arriesga, no gana...

i think im risking myself when using nmm on this mini... but (hell) no risk, no wins..

I was going to say tone down the res on the nose a bit but you\'ve balanced it out very well. Love dwarves so this one I will watch. Going good so far!

skin and hair/beard are now just how they should be - maybe you could play some more with the gold bracelets, but you don\'t really need to change them at all

hay varios cambios, decidí seguir el consejo de agrandarle las pupilas al personaje, pienso que fue un acierto. Ya los dorados los doy por finalizados (quizá un retoque mínimo más adelante y limpiar el manchon marron q quedó en el anillo del brazalete izquierdo :roll...

there are several changes, i decided to make the eye pupils a little bigger, i think that was a success. The golds are finished (maybe some minimum changes ahead, but not too much, oh and i have to clean the brown spot at the bottom ring from the left bracelet :roll....

la \"faldita\" y los zapatos tienen color base con algun sombreado... me gustan los zapatos pero la faldita no me termina de convencer siendo azul.... no sé si hacerla marron con tonos mas bien rojizos para que se integre más con la miniatura y dejar los contrastes para los pequeños detalles como los dorados....

the \"skirt\" and the shoes have base colours with shadows... i like the shoes but the blue skirt doesnt convince me... i dunno if painting it brown with some red tones so it can be at the same colour range as the skin and hair so that i leave the contrast to the gold and other details...

anyway... advices are more than welcome:

Looks very nice so far LEg0, I really like the eyes and the bracelets so far. One thing I think would be a thing to change on this mini are the veins - at the moment they are the same tone as the skin. Perhaps give them a tint of red or purple?

About the \'skirt\' - the blue actually looks good IMO, it ties in with the eyes very well.
