The company isnt going out of business, they are dropping an unprofitable miniature line.
As for the recession affecting the miniature business, I have worked in this industry since 1991, through 3..yes Three recessions and all as bad or worse than this one.. and the miniature business has done well. yes you will have casualties but most of the time poor decisions and bad business plans kill a company than lack of sales..look how many people on this and every thread discussing it on many boards are all saying the same thing.

I seriously think all it would\'ve taken was a downloadable .pdf with some rules, pics, and fluff in English. I know for a fact that the people in our community worldwide can do stuff like that looking professional, done in a week, and probably have done in for free swag.

I bought a box of 3 Hell Dorado minis in Melbourne, Down Under (at Mind Games which stock their complete line of minis) last time I was there. The price wasn\'t too bad. Cheaper than buying 3 individual Rackham minis.

I\'ve always used Arcane miniatures .. a lot of people gve them bad reports but never had a problem yet??

What amazes me is how many models from the range I hadn\'t even SEEN!
How long was this range/game around? It looks like years worth of releases, or maybe just a real well organized model release system. Man..... these guys really COULD have made it.

You\'re not wrong. They have (had) so many cool minis! I got the Mercenaries Damned Rank & File box set. Beautiful minis! I\'m sure the sculptor is the same guy that made the Thousand Pace Jailer for Rackham. I\'m sure that someone else will pick up this line of minis and re-release \'em. If not, at least the sculptors will continue to make more minis and sell them. My only regret is that I didn\'t buy more of them Down Under. Seriously sweet minis!
