End of the year assestment

hummm...I paint a mini, then turn around and buy six more unpainted ones to add to my \"dragon hoard\". But I can\'t help it..it\'s a sickness
This years Assesment
My mini pile has shrunk this year.
By roughly 5 minis, so far. Christmass is on the way. I defiantly have my work cut out for me this comming year.
Being absent and with my long time parter in crime, also being absent, the Factory has been unfunctional, and burning for fuel. The whole time screaming it\'s insistant chant \"Give me fuel! Give me fire! Give me that which I desire!\"
One day, walking in the snowy world, that is the christmass season in Thunder Bay. I find myself crashing to the ground! My last images a blur of red.
After an eternity of blackness, i descend through the abyss, yes that abyss! Into the world where I had long ago tread, where from my affliction had come, so long ago. Deep in the hells, I lift myself up, ripping a bullet from my temple, the blood that cakes my face crumples from the force, A silver bullet, i had been shot with none other then a silver bullet.

I cannot help but wonder, where am I? Then a voice screams out! Though I cannot figure from where it had come, the painful meaning was clear.
I find my way, then fight through the valley of shadows and fiends, across the burning sands, into the cove of the succubi, and back out again!
Soon I find myself in old, familiar grounds. I look up, at factory, resonating with it\'s beautiful destructive force. Despite it\'s great evil, the factory looks weak, alone, abandoned, by itself. I take my station, pick up my painbrush, i am about to begin what should never have ceased, but then I look up. Who do i see? An old friend great with dark force :]
Soon, new creations emerge, the factory has been reborn! With new vigor and strenght. The world can only testify to it\'s reborn presence, with great fear and admiration!
Together, to the pleasure of greater, and lesser demons alike, and all the evils, we begin to work the destructive, once again. Piles of evil emerge! The likes of which, could never be compared, contested, or looked at directly! :flame: One can only wonder, what is to come?
I hope you enjoyed this short story, i am no english major, thats for sure. I felt compelled to herald this event, which happened during this Christmass season. In this assesment! I hope this didnt get in your way, I doubt i will ever post something so as massive again!
Myself, i have 12 riders of rohan to complete, an old school winged nightmare to finish stripping, 30 odd uruk hai, numerious LOTR figures from the first boxed set, to dig through, These wicked figures (i dont know who manufactures them) to represent Chosen Tzeench warriors, Chaos Knights, A few reapers, one demon which i am looking forward to with great anticipation, i want to strip and repaint my vampires, and the Vampire queen, strip dwarf dragon and demon slayers, redo gortex and felix, paint long beard regiment. finish 1 diarama today, as well.
Sounds like other people have alot of minis to complete themselves. I wish everyone luck in decimating there personal piles.

Well I have probably finished 3 minis this year and bought about 30. I don\'t think I will make much a dent into that pile anytime soon but I will try.
Just finally got my minis unpacked after moving-A lot of their blisters were trashed by the movers somehow so there were pieces everywhere. Spent a whole evening figuring out what went with who. Nothing was horribly bent or broken tho As for an end of year assessment I\'d have to say I haven\'t done too badly I finished about 8 mini\'s this year which is a bit short of the one a month I wanted to accomplish. That didn\'t put a dent in the box of minis in my closet chanting \"paint me PAINT ME!\" lol BUT I have become more discriminating in what minis I buy so the pile is growing a lot slower than it used to. Which gives me some small hope that one day I\'ll be caught up! Hopefully after Christmas I can finish getting our house unpacked and set up a painting area.

collection is up! Including a plasic GW hero quest door prize (holly jolly holly jolly). Percentage painted is down slightly due to above mentioned influx.
However, production of the huge fire nation steamship + ocean diorama was halted half way through due to creative differences amoung the Thirty Two year old and Seven year old designers. Apparently the wood plank motiff planned for the ships outer hull was totally L7. We can only hope a compromise will be reached in 2006.

Too many. I think I might have a couple of hundred here in South Korea. I brought them over when I went home last year.Then there are the guys back in the Okanagen. Maybe another couple of hundred. Then there is that Ogre Kingdom boxset i bought myself last year.

Well I might not have piles (that sounds painful) I unfortunately have managed to amass a huge quantity of figures in a very short time. And next week I take delivery of a WFB orc army, a copy of epic, 15 metal terminators and two copies of space hulk. (The guy was selling as a single lot and I really wanted a copy of spacehulk )
My objective is to paint my entire Ultramarine army.
