What about some mozaic made of pictures of mini's in the shape of a hart or a wedding ring or something like that. I guess that would be a real Coolminiornot-gift. Don't know if it's a real option though.

Maybe something that both the couple and the giver could have?
Folks could paint up a mini in their honor, then send in a good pic and a personal message to be put in a book. It could be physically printed through DeviantArt (or something similar), given to the couple, and the original mini would be a reminder of the couple to the person who painted it.

I like the idea of a round robin then they get one or two minis that come from everyones heart, I bet we could convince chern ann and borg to donate a mini seeing as the proposal was all their idea

Well certainly get them sculpted but not for the cake; cast in best quality and a top notch paint job, minis of cmon members from cmon members.

Hi all,
Sorry I've left this thread for a bit - been interstate on business, complete with shoddy network connections. Anyways, I love the idea of a round robin, or something similar.
Therefore, calling for all interested parties. I'll provide the figs, as long as they're from the Rackham range (Griffons, Lions, or Dirz(!)). If there's only 5 or less interested parties, I'll provide each with a single fig to put up their best work. Or, give me some ideas, and if I have the figs, I'll contribute them.
Also, I think it'd be nice if we could provide something practical to the newly engageds - perhaps the most practical would be a means to unit these two, if only for a while. Therefore, I also propose a contributing fund towards airfare, either from the UK to the States, or vice versa.
I'm happy for a neutral party to hold the funds in escrow, or I can do so. I'll provide the initial seed money. Anyone else?
