Enough barbarians, we need a superhero

Seems the ladies were not safe at the bar what with all the barbarians carting them off. Then, along came a spider and made the freak bar safe for the little miss to swig her ale. Shortly after, the little miss lined up the superhero in her infrared scope and shot a set of mole-grips his way, securing a place in his heart (or is that the other way around?)

I\'m thinking....

that this is a \'freak bar key\' for Peter (avicenna).

Spidey costume is a call back from a PYP thread, molegrips are a Tooshy reference, beer for the bar...the bloody heart...

**edit** and I do not suck wang. But I think I\'ve Wang Chunged, or at least that is what I thought that penicillin was for....

Vikey, dead on as usual. But if I recall, it was someone else\'s ale that got nabbed as he swung out of the bar with Tooshy in his arms.

Now if the superhero himself would just pop in.....

HOwever, thanks also to Vince, it has this strange bass line:

Everybody have fun tonight!
badgerbadgerbadgerbadger...
Everybody Wang Chung tonight
mushroom. mushroom.

Isn\'t this jsut what I needed!

a wretched, insipid tune from the... 80\'s? or 90\'s? forget which. One of those horrid things that once you get it in your brain, it refuses to leave.

[edit] actually, wang chung was the group \"everybody have fun\" was the song. It just so happens that they decided to use their name in the hook for no apparent reason than self-promotion. Their web-site claims they were a New Wave band, but i\'d put them more in the overblown, \"bubble-gum\"my pop category.

Happy freak Peter
Does it matter I have a tape signed by Wang himself from long ago and far away like the flock of seagulls time He totes a degree in classical and a womanizing attitude and he likes the beach here GO figure....

They were definitely in the 80\'s. That song came out when I was 15, which was in \'84/\'85.

And definitely bubblegum pop.
