Eolith 28mm Zombies

Recently finished the first few figures in my planned 28mm range for Eolith. I normally don't do previews as many of you know but I've ended up sculpting in a very different style to usual so I'm curious to the reaction (let's put it like this, if I just said I was sculpting 28mm zombies, I'm not sure this is what people would picture in their heads as a Steve B zombie).

Anyway, I've chucked them up here for your viewing and voting pleasure.

Not normally a zombie fan, but I do like these. Will they be resin or metal?

Anymore pics of the second guy (or, what's he holding?)

They're going to be metal (I'd have to charge a fortune to customers for resin). The second guy is holding a hatchet rather awkwardly.

what's un-modern about them? you could have a bum, a farmer and a girl going to a ball.. you need to see the potential!!

The gal could be converted to a 'goth zombie chick' I suppose....

Rural zombies may work...

Still damn good! I just need a freakin' Ipod on one!

I like them Steve, I think the woman is most recognisably your work (whether I'd have guessed without knowing is a different matter of course). My only crit is that the heads all look a bit firmly held up, I'd like to see a little more lolling/floppiness to them.

I'm sure they'll sell well! How tricky would it be to put into production a little Zombie Accessory sprue? Ipod, handbag, handgun, shotgun, pitchfork, traffic cone, etc. Then people can tailor them to suit the time period they game in. Free with purchase of all 3 minis?

Cheers, B.

I may take a set of masters of these guys and modernise them as it wouldn't be a huge undertaking.
