Cheers Ter, it means a lot coming from an amazing person such as you. Sit down and take my time haha,I even use a hairdryer to speed everything up. when I get a bust to paint, not a 28mm wargaming figure I'll be sure to take my time and limit my painting sessions to a few hours a time so I can refresh my eyes. its amazing what you don't see when your focusing too much.

I've got Typhus to do next and hell be painted in the same way as the dread

Cheers BAM, your diamond mate. I'm gonna redo the photos I think, I think the size of the photos isn't doing it any justice :)

Voted 10 buddy but I got to be honest with you there is something missing and I can't put my finger on it. The paint job itself is 10 but the over all composition lack deepness, like maybe next time you should push the highlights a bit more and really make all the details stand out with dark fine linings around them. I feel that it's a whole block and it can't move.

Like I said before I am not a tech guy and have hard time explaining stuff but my eyes and experience just tell me that something is missing, I wish i could of tell you before but I am really uncomfortable talking technical stuff because I am scared to death to be wrong ! LOL

haha, no worries Ter... the model is has huge amounts of detail on it, haps what your thinking is that there is not enough contrast between the metal work and the armor panels, etc .. I'm really happy with the result to the naked eye it looks very well balanced. every model is a learning experience :)

Hahahah, one day maybe one day I will try a dreadnought but first I will try a Juggernaut that is waiting after a few other projects I have in 2015, I might be able to do the Jugg in 2016, if ever GD come back in the states tho It's sure I will focus only on the Jugg.

I think what ter is saying is the panels could have more depth as in darker contrast is yielding depth so one or another out of both I would've had the purples with a black brown or even a small amount of black in the shade...now first lemme say I love it as is I'm a big fan of subtlety and I think it's perfect for my liking but can itgo the other way of course it's never right or wrong just different likings and being subjective period is just the nature of the contrast beast.it's favored by many artist but runs the risk of then being not realistic as I said for my taste I love it.great job epic and lemme know when your going to Canada I'm going to go to and have a funny ass time with ter....oh and ter not to worry I have info that golden demon will be coming back ,no one knows when but be prepare I know I definitely will ;)

that makes a bit more sense :) all in good time, practice makes perfect I do find though that if you go too contrast heavy it takes away from the realism of the mini..

John. I've gone the tmm route of the high elf mage, like I said I'd rather be a master of one than a jack of all trades and be known for my metal work
