Did I mention doing commissions helps you devise methods of fast paced painting where no one could ever tell the difference if it took days vs hours!!!! Boy after my own heart!! Way to play the game son!!!

Another update on the Ork. I've based most of the metal parts. I've started the freehand on the skirt and done a few checkers.
I'm pretty happy with the skin so far. although I may adjust it further down the line.

Look what arrived in the post xD
the orc is really looking stunning. The green (skin) with red (cloth) scheme is looking extremely well. I also like your blending and transition of colours a lot. The figopedia is a very good one with lot's of theory. I think I read it 3 times and now I start to get it. That' saying a lot about my lack of brains :confused2:

Hehe, Cheers Gino. I'm going to enjoy reading figopedia, I've flicked through it and even I am going to re-read stuff for it to sink in, I think its best to read it whilst painting

GGreat stuff on the greenskin,the freehand is proper as could be your starting to do it without even thinking and btw if anybody needs help with figopedia I'll be more than happy think I got a handle on it now just practice the shite out of it ,the material is dense but again I'll be available to go through it..I couldn't have made it without baily clarifying many things as its not the easiest read.
Hi Epic, Brilliant idea to keep the book at hand while painting. Haven't thought about that. You see I wasn't lying about the little brain !

There are a few great painters on here for NNM, look up 10 ball. very neat stuff.
if you want tutorials look up Painting Buddha, very good NNM tutorials. They've recently done NNM Age of Sigma Minis which look real sweet.
