Ok here it goes. I'm almost to a point where I'm calling it a day on this peice and before I fix him to the base any CC would be great as its for local comp.

You crazy wonderful guy. I love this piece. The banner, the sculpt, the paint job, the base, the blades...hell I said it all before and I will say it again. EPIC BANGARANG MATE! Haha. Now for the critique. ITS HORRIBLE, SLOPPY, AND IN DIRE NEED OR HELP. So I will tell you what, Ill give you my address and I can help it out for you, just send it my way and I will put it on a shelf with all my baddly painted minis and it will shine like a becon of light sent down from the heavens.
Now for realsies. I think the skull on the belt buckle brings to much maroon/red to it. Just a suggestion but maybe a different color or some goff checks through it.

Perhaps scuffed up checks with metal showing through so its more like a belt buckle?

how do you mean. like red towards the black of the lip and to the sides so the light purple is more like a highlight?

I agree turn the purple lip to pinkish red then you'll have the spot color of red in the two way triangle example sword ,sword,kilt, and then an inverted lip, sword,sword..you see and then stipple a Lil bit of blood down directly under one of the swords and viola ,mini ready for comp.amazing job on this make those small changes and you'll see the diff.

My fav parts are banner,the flesh,the kilt and the swords..that makes it my fav is the whole damn model great work on this and at a fast rate love that.

A for the skull I think you had a great idea with the chuffed metal cause the you have the spot color triangle skull,shoulder guard,shoulder guard. From here on in it doesn't always have to be spot colors but where groups of the same color can make a triangle if you connect them than its more pleasing to the viewer.

Cheers for the CC guys as always your advise is impeccable. I triangle is fantastic I see it clear as day now. Never saw that before. You lot are GOLDEN. I shall add some touches tonight and upload the results although it will be late since I'm having a game of X-Wing later

The border looks cool. As for the lip maybe glaze the purple and the green into each other a little at the minute the transition is very hard and it stands out quite a bit. Not sure if you've seen this but it should help
