A couple of months ago, we had some insulation done in our home.... I managed to get some EPS foam from the guys that were doing the insulation, and many months of happy carving and converting started after that.... but now its all gone!:(

Since then, I have been to all the places that people have suggested on here to try and buy some more, but with no luck.
These stores include B&Q, Homebase, Hobbycraft and The Range.....
Where do you buy this stuff??????:cussing:

Yea, I did find some of the expandable foam spray, but its not the same..... It\'s the blue or pink high density polystyrene that you see modellers use.

have you asked them at the store? my work colleague got a load of offcuts free from them for her son (she gave some to me too) b+q i think she got it from. also try asking builders. if anyone is having stuff done locally, try asking them

Granddad!
look in your yellow pages for Insulation suppliers as well, they will usually sell sheets from a split pack
it\'ll be cheaper than retail

oh yeah, one trade name for the pink one is Polyfoam

these might be useful Yell search

just found these FGF I\'ve bought polyfoam from this company down here
If you ask for damaged sheets (2400x600 usually), tell them it\'s for making models, they\'ll probably only charge a few quid a sheet

Not the spray - you can get mouldings and other building/DIY stuff manufactured from shaped polyurethane foams (golden yellow/ochre colour) of various densities. This is the same stuff as Balsa-Foam.
