Euclidean Geometry - I need help!!!

I\'ll do it before you Anders just to prove that we sociologist do know how to solve mathematical problems!

Oh let\'s see....

hmm..Yeah...

erhh.... Wait!!... No.. that only proves who killed JFK...

Can I ask the audience?? or phone a friend?

Seriously from what I can remember.. draw new squares, rectangles, lines and circles until you nail it. I like simple geometry as you can actually see the stuff you\'re doing... ;)

The problem is, you can\'t prove anything in mathematics by drawing things. Drawing the problem is a good start, but you need to use the theorems and axiomes to actually prove it in a mathematical sense. :)

But, I\'m curious... who killed JFK? :]

Yeah of course... but if you want to use an axiom or the theorems which you don\'t have to prove you have to be able to use them somewhere.. in geometry solving things like this it most often is about adding lines to form uniform traingles or drawing it inside a circle.. etc.

About JFK... According to my calculations it was someone on this forum!!

It has to be one of the coffin dodgers as the rest of us weren\'t alive back then. It should narrow the possibilities down. lol

Oh. P-L-E-A-S-E so you\'re not calculating with the possibility of traversable wormholes? Now what is your motives going to be? lol

It\'s interesting as once the triangles are rotated or moved away from that one position those lines will not bisect. One can arrange the triangles so the lines do not even cross.

There is nothing in the instruction about the location or position of the two triangles in relation to one another, so it almost asks one to find a case where it can be proven, and then prove it.

edited - they share O, so they have to touch at least.
