Hotel was booked last September, Train tickets booked 10 weeks ago, only just remembered to buy the bloody entry tickets last week!

Painting like a loony these next two weeks, going to see what I can cobble together.

Seriously though guys, I am super jealous. When we finally visit the UK I'm gonna have to try to trick the wife into timing the trip around this event and act all surprised. "oh well, what fortunate timing, I mean we're here anyway so maybe I'll just pop in for a little..."

I'm pretty lucky actually. She's really supportive of the hobby and will take ANY excuse to travel. We were about to hit "book" on a trip to the NOVA Open this year to see the show and take in the museums around Washington when my dad had his stroke. So maybe next year? We were also going to do something grand for our 10 year wedding anniversary, but I think we will be in midst of selling my dads house so next November I need to book a big trip. The little one and her want to go to Paris or London or Hawaii...

Well considering my position in the house hold which I pay for (below that of Goldy the goldfish) then the one room of the house which is mine needs a bit of pep so calling it the Mount of Windsor and Newton is my way of upping its importance.
