I\'m going for the Saturday but in Birmingham for the GD on Sunday so will not be entering anthing for the Euro.

Milmods web site seems very unloved and out dated you can\'t even get any info on the latest editions of the mag.

Talking to Orb the other day and we reckon they are on a loser not promoting this more as it has to be one of the best eye candy shows in the UK.

And I get acused of thread necromancy lollol

Yep I intend on going agian although I doubt I will stay the full day, there are several items I want and no doubt the Pegaso store will do a good trade from me as well :D

I think Rob (ORB) might be going although not heard from him in a while, he did say about going to Euro this year instead of GD.

if your going next year mick, i\'ll be there :)

i\'d rather do a two day event where you can get a good look at the models as well as have a relaxed chat with the clubs there.

Yep, just going to go for the Saturday, There is no way I am going to enter anything, not this year anyway it\'s just nice to go and have a look at the top class eye candy and get a few ideas for what can be done.

I did think about putting my name down for one of the airbrush tutorials but thought they would have been snapped up straight away. any idea why they got canceled???

Relaxed it is you don\'t get shoved around by people wanting to see the figures but on the down side the figures are open on shelves in the display room with only a rope barrier between the shelves/stands and the people so it is easy for the mindless few to reach over and touch/move around the entries.

The trade side of it can be very busy on the Saturday especially around the more well known traders and Pegaso always has a large amount of people trying to get what they want at the same time but nowhere near as bad as the Forgeworld stand :D

I think you would enjoy it Chris, if it hadn\'t of clashed with Gamesday then I would have gone for the two days although not really sure what hapens on the Sunday apart form the competition results and possibly some re-enactment outside on the lawns.

Both days.

Entries are brought in on the Saturday and have to stay on display until the Sunday afternoon. Without checking I think the latest entries can be submitted is about 3pm an the Saturday but you will find that most of the entries will be in by around 1 ish.

Entries can be by proxy there is a bit about it on the site where it lists the categories I think.

\"ENTRIES MAY BE MADE BY PROXY PROVIDING SUCH ENTRIES ARE ACCOMPANIED BY A NOTE OF AUTHORIZATION SIGNED AND DATED BY THE ABSENT COMPETING ARTIST(S).

PROXY ENTRIES NOT ACCOMPANIED BY SUCH AUTHORIZATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.\"

If I had a bit more time and I felt that anything I put in wouldn\'t get laughed out then I would have gone this route depending on who else was going that might be able to collect my entry for me on the Sunday.

The Euo-Militaire show is a classic show with some really superb pieces of Painting on display and the competition is one of the highest regarded in the world.

War Griffon has lent me the DVD of 2006 Euro-Militaire which is interesting and shows some superb painted pieces, however the narrator really has an awful irritating voice.

Well I got the car back from its service and MOT yesterday afternoon and I have just got over the shock of losing both arms and a leg - painting is now amusing using a brush held between the toes of my remaining foot leaves a lot to be desired, I wouldn\'t mind but the damn car is only 5 years old I have had it from new and it has just cost me £666 to have fixed to pass the MOT :flame::mad::mad:

This has seriously cut back my funds for this weekend and having thought long and hard about it I have decided that it isn\'t worth me driving the 3 hours each way to get there and spending money on the Saturday as well as spending money at the NEC on Sunday.

Which means I will not be at Euro-Militaire on Saturday and for those that are still going I hope you have a good time :D

Ack, why do they have to have this the same weekend as GD.

Well, I\'ve decided to have a break from GD next year, so since I live in kent now I\'ll probably take a wander down to Euro in 2008

Cheers

Matt
