OK, so it is... Like Tammy said, moldlines are easily forgotten. But if I might hijack this thread (maybe) for a while...

Look at that model. Really look at it. Take off her clothes (hehe) in your mind. Take of her head, arms and boobs. What are you left with? Yes, the torso of Arnold Swartzenegger and the legs of Twiggy...

I mean, how bad can they get! Worst sculpt I have seen in a long long time.

Plz don\'t shoot me ;)
I generally love Rackham and I dig those original Fianna\'s and I still adore the way they sculpt male anatomy (mosttimes)... But this?.... ???????????????????????????

Ramon... they are stick insects with boobs remember?

I think it is a sub-par piece for Matt anyways.. Looks rushed. Not saying it isn\'t good, just rushed.

This is brilliant! Now I will know how to describe most of the Rackham\'s humanoid\'s proportions (especially females ... ) lol

Hehehe... point taken...

But still, they used to be just that, stick insects with boobs. But they used to work for me :D
Nowadays I see Rackham females and they have totally seemed to lose *it*.

What is *it*? Not sure, but they sure lost it.....

Maybe it is because I am doing a lot of scultping of late.... I am starting to get some idea what I am trying to do so I can more easily compare....

Ah well... Nuff hijacking for me... :)

About the model seems a mixing of many rackham sculpts parts, the head and the mask on the hip are \"inspired\" from morgwen, i know because i\'ve painted this mini recently, the other parts i don\'t know...seems like a very well done conversion most than a sales model.
I don\'t say nothing about the painting, he\'s a master so he\'s untouchable.

Matt should just call it a wardrobe malfunction, since the nips look a lot like Janet Jackson\'s. However, the line of the line ( curve of the mold line) does lead the viewer to the center of the mini like a fine Bouguereau, ( my personal favorite and an overlooked Master, not to mention the most famous artist of his time, in his own time, that is.) Note to sculpters, I would love to see some of his paintings in 3D.

Origineel geplaatst door ramonlaan Yes, the torso of Arnold Swartzenegger and the legs of Twiggy...
lol That\'s a good description.
I never minded the Rackham proportions since I saw their series as caricature/stylish from the first moment I set eyes on them (1999). And I loved them for that. But in this figure it really doesn\'t work. Does that figure really have such thin legs?

By the way, anybody got any most embarassing mistake stories? Mine was realising that I had totally forgotten to paint one quarter of a mini at a speed painting competition.

Well, mine was when I received that slayer sword this year in the UK demons and I discovered I had no clothes on!!!!!! MAY have been a dream though ;)

And yes, this mini does not work.
