Excellent Service!

Nothing earth-shattering or terribly thought provoking, but I always like to acknowledge excellent service from on-line places.
First, our own Frustrated Father at Wyrd. Ordered up a few minis the other day and had them in my hot little hands in only 3 DAYS. Unbeatable!
Secondly, I put in an order for some Magic Sculpt and some ProCreate from The Compleat Sculptor, a place I\'ve never ordred from before, and had my order with-in four days! Also pretty darn good!

As I said, I just like to acknowledge publically when I get really good service from a company and let others know that they are good places to do business with.

When i ordered Wyrd mini\'s (before i knew about the wyrd site) I ordered them from CMoN, 6 week delivery time! Never again!

I usually get my orders from the CMON shop within 1-2 weeks. So, I have no problems with ordering from there.

Maybe poking Nathan with that stick could be seen as a pre-emptive strike or something... lol

I ordered me some Wyrd bits on saturday, and will let you know when they arrive, reading this thread is certainly encouraging!

Avatars of war on the other hand, have only placed 2 orders and have had to chase him up on both counts. My orc shaman has just today been posted (thats put in an envelope, not received), a day after me chasing it following a 2 week wait.

Anyone know how good battlewagon bits are to shipping to the uk?

@OrkyDave - Battlewagon were great for me. Arrived in the UK just over a week after I placed the order and they sent emails every step of the way when processing it.

Hey ... thanks ... now I\'ve had to already fend off two TP attempts (the cat will never be the same) and if it wasn\'t for the stick being a bit large I\'d have some serious issues along my bum if I wasn\'t so fleet of foot!

Seriously though, pleased to hear that your happy with the service. Now just wait for the new goodies coming out in a week or three (insert ramble and redirection of people with sticks and tp towards studio painters now ... )

I\'ve never had a problem with Wyrd\'s service either. Can\'t wait to see tthe new stuff coming out hit the store.

I\'ve only ever heard a couple of complaints about the CMON shop but personally, I\'ve never had a problem with them either.

Other sites that I\'ve ordered from with no problems:

Starplayer - which is in France, out of the few orders I\'ve placed with them, only had a problem with one. It took a side trip to Jamacia somehow, but that\'s really the PO\'s fault, not thiers

Colorado Miniatures - mostly historicals but carry all the Andrea\'s line and brass-etched foilage

FozzBozz - currently having store-closing sale, excellent service, sorry to see them go

Then the Good Riddance category:

New Wave - oh all the stories about them, I only made the mistake of ordering from them once, but that was enough. If anybody ever deserved the royal TP treatment and major stick poking/bashing, it was them. (They were also based near Atlanta, so where were you then, Rodnik??)

So a big \"Thanks!\" to all the good mini suppliers out there who keep us well stocked in tiny liitle metal people. And keep our pockets from getting cluttered up with too much money.

i once recieved a package from nathan that i didn\'t even order!! sadly it wasnt meant for me so i sent it on but it still felt good to open it!! have only actually ordered from them once and they were great. ordered from heresy the other day on a sunday and somehow recieved it either on the monday or tuesday
