....from Gamers-Quest, I ordered the Ltd Ed Drune Lanyfh at about 9pm last night, not expecting anything to be done till this morning. Got an email from Jean at GQ saying the order was being processed, :eek: ...anyway to cut a long story short, it\'ll be in the post today :cool:
I reckon this is \'above & beyond\' (nothing to do with the TV series) bearing in mind this was well after 9pm, and Jean deserves a mention & a big Thank You

Nice to hear positive stuff, we tend to complain about bad service but not praise good service enough. Of course, reading this post now has me debating whether to try and order this figure now since I have been wanting one since I saw the pictures of it....

I read this and immediately gave it a try ordering one! I\'ve also been wanting one since I first saw it. Let\'s hope they still have it in stock... :)

Well, in the vein of my first order from Reaper, a rather large one, I placed the order on a tuesday evening, at about 8pm, and I received it by UPS the next day. I called to ask how it was done so quickly, and found that the guy that had packaged it had run it over to the UPS sorting department, as it was on his way home, and got it shipped with 10 minutes to spare before they loaded the plane for take-off.

Total time between hitting \'submit\' for the payment to receipt (in Toronto, from Texas), 15.5 hours.

Reaper has always given me great service too - I think its great they throw in free paint samples in every order! Other places I have been impressed with are fozzbozz.com (they not only get me my orders fast, they surprised me with an email to make sure I got my order and that everything was ok!) and Bronze Age Miniatures (www.bronzeagemin.com) - David does some unique stuff (love his generics!) and has also been kind enough to send some special figures my way that I hope to post here eventually (think Frazetta, big axe, and horned helm :))

Good point - I forgot about that and spending time looking at their paint charts to try and figure out what I had :)

you want good customer service? I got this Lanyfh for free from my local game store when I walked into the store one day. They got it for being an exibitor at a convention here in CA, and thought of me (not many painters around my area), and just handed it over.

Not only was there no waiting, I got it even before I knew what it was or knew that I wanted one! :) THAT\'S customer service.

Seriously, I have the best customer service with the Hasslefree staff! Sally is a joy to work with and they\'re just good people.

Yeh I will second that for HassleFree.Very friendly.Ive never waited more than 2 days for Heresy or Spyglass either.

I had a good experience with Reaper\'s customer service recently. I bought the new Griffon and it was missing the left foreleg, I e-mailed them and a replacement was sent via UPS right away. Very nice of them.

These are businesses I will try to patronize. Customer service is virtually non-existent in many industries lately. Thanks for the info folks.
