Hi Taggi 
it's the old classic, make a horse to 25mm scale in metal & it costs too much & takes up loads of space on the table. I have some tiny horses from the early '80s for similarly huge fantasy warriors/wizards, then the early '90s (I think) hideously skinny metal elf horses GW did. It's kind of like the wolf to warg in post #29 of this thread http://www.coolminiornot.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33479&highlight=cream&page=2
I don't know if it's the same with historical wargaming at 15mm though?
Bloody kids with their fancy-pants modern plastic horses & realistic (heroic) scale stuff :tut:
