Experiment in See-through Clothes

This is a Yovanka from Dark Age Games. I know what the Dragyri are supposed to look like, but I just didn\'t care. I\'ve been wanting to try out the see-through technique on the dress she\'s almost wearing for a long time now. I decided the fans had to be somewhat translucent too. It was an exciting experiment for me, to see the transformation from chunk of metal, to light and filmy looking clothes....at least, I hope other people see it that way, besides just me.

The base is made mostly out of sculpy, on top of the plastic base that came with the mini.

I think the sheer effect is incredible, as is the rest of the mini.
Gave it a 10, and I almost never do that.

While it looks good, two bigger panes would be better than the 6 small ones. I can\'t tell if you have used the effect anywhere other than on the arse!

I\'d like bigger pics too - the effect looks excellent on the ass but that\'s about the only place I can really see it.

Nice base but I don\'t think it suits the mini though. Voted - 8.

yeah, it is an amazing effect, but I think the rest of the cloth, below the butt area, just doesn\'t look quite right. Still pretty freaking cool.

The best ever painted transparent clothing I saw was on a set of flats of slave girls - had to be seen to be believed. Might see if I can scan in the picture...a BIG picture for you shortsighted blokes out there

Bigger Picture

Okay, here are a couple more angles that I hope succeed in showing that I tried to make the whole thing see through.
They\'re about 800 times bigger than the actual miniature
which was a mere 54 mm tall in real life.
Let me know if this is any better, although they\'re a bit fuzzy. I think I made the image too big for photobucket. Oops.

WOW.

the only thing I can comment on is the transition at the bottom of her bottom. It almost seems too abrupt. It is nice and smooth coming into the sheer at the top of her bottom and I would think it would be the same at the other end.
