The war of the beard was etween High Elves and the Dwarfs. Wood Elves as they are now didnt even exist at that point. Some Dark Elves disguised as High Elves butchered a dwarf caravan. When the dwarfs sent an envoy to get compensation the high elves thought it was an insult and cut off his beard. And so the war of the beard began.

on the note of 40k, I miss 2nd edition...Good times, Good times. Driving a bike with a flamer on it and sliding through the enemy\'s rank and setting them all on fire. AHHH< THAT BRINGS BACK MANY A CHEAP TACTIC!

Well a soldier can only throw grenades a short distance, so grenades are used often in \"assaults\", you throw them to soften the enemy up and then storm in for CQB. At least that\'s what \"Band of Brothers\" and Counter Strike taught me

Nay - they give +1 to initiative while attaking or something like this...
I really dunno beacuse I use 2nd edition rules where you can actually throw grenades at your enemies with blast markers and not bash with them on your foe\'s head

Last time I bought me a skeleton units to paint it took me 5 hours to clean them from the mold lines and assemble - A horror!
