funnys greenskin warband project.

finally got my new camera in the mail, and ive had some mixed results with it. color balance seems to be waaaay cool. after fidgeting with it for a good while i came up with these pics. :rolleyes: it was a good excuse to post something at least.

these goblins are part of a small greenskin warband im painting up for SoBH. should be fun to do a small themed group of minis. i may even make some terrain to go along with them. we'll see....

I love the bases, look like they are really in a cave. Oxidization on the metals is really great. Your warband is going to look awesome!

hi guys!
thanks for all the comments - i worked pretty hard to come up with a good color scheme that was true to my previous vision of greenskins. as you know by now, im big in to metals, especially weathered ones (i probably do it too much) my focus seems to be paying of in some small way.
i do have another gobbo to show... without all the metal. i put a little extra effort in to the robes, and i think they look better (more like textured fabric) than my previous attempts. this is also my wood prototype for the rest of the warbands hafts n' stuff.
up next: i have a few more completed gobbos, including my favorite gobbo to date, as well as a rework of my very first orc, which will fit in nicely with a base change.

hopefully i can keep your interest up in this project with some super cool models down the road. you know, this might be a better thread for the wip board b/c it is really about warband completion.....

mods, do you think i could get a title change to reflect the topic more accurately? (see first post title).
