Lovely work. I like the red power sword and that is some very nice free hand on the banner, though i do think a dark border would have helped it to pop more. I also love the glazed chapter icon on his shoulder guard :)

Thanks Zab! :) I agree that a border would have improved the banner. The initial idea was to make it look like a piece of an illustrated shroud or someting, but that doesn't really come across.

I love the shoulder pad icon- looks really good. Was the banner done freehand? I am not the best at freehanding as I am never happy and end up overdoing it lol overall a great job also like the base. I am just about to push the button for this miniature from GW and I shall bookmark your work as a point of reference for painting mine- hope it turns out as good although I know my banner will be much more simplistic or even a transfer!

I love the look of the wax on the purity seals- how did you get this waxy effect? I have my own Ezekiel waiting to paint now but I shall be getting a lot of practice painting my troops before I start on my HQ models.
