Pretty cool... and done by proper Artists too... and I mean proper with a capital P ;)

Maybe miniature painting is indeed art after all :D

You\'ll never take me alive BB!

Very, very cool indeed! And yes I\'d call this art, but it goes so far past mini painting that I don\'t think this qualifies for that old debate!

But wow!

The re-make of the destroyed piece was shared here a while back. It became
several large dioramas sharing a theme.

I don\'t know if this is the destroyed one, or something totally different, though.

I thought some of it had an Apocalypse Now feel to it ... when they first entered Kurtz\' camp. Obviously, the gore was beyond anything in Kurtz\' camp, (and of course all the more hellish stuff), but at any rate, that was the first thing that came to mind when I saw it.

WOW! Mind blowing! I agree that the painting is so so.. but the sheer scale and complexity of the modeling way more than make up for the lack! Where can more information/images be found about this peice?

And now for something completely serious....Man, that is overwhelming!! It would be interesting to hear how long it took, how many people worked on it, how much it cost, etc...
