for a scenic base i am planning, I intend to include a daemonette corpse on the ground, but all of them are in a jumping pose. Does any one know how i could fix this mess?

Sculpt one :s
Or convert one :p

That\'s about IT really :)

You could try and find one of the poses that would take the least anoubt of re-positioning (Although I\'m unfamiliar with the figures)
and simply try bending the legs straight or whatever is needed.

Although I\'d imagine, for it to look good SOME GS work would be needed...

I\'ll have a quick look on the GW site for the Figures you mean - are they any different from WH to 40k?

EDIT: Right - had a quick look at the abysmally small GW thumbnails, and yes - they all appear to be in that \"standing on one leg\" pose don\'t they...

Well - if she\'s gonna be dead, does it matter what sorta pose she\'s in or do you want her in a particular position...? (fnar fnar ;))

Well, you could just chop off the difficult parts. And from there it\'s either gore or sculpt better parts. As far as fluff goes, don\'t demons go poof when they die? Maybe just leave some bloody claws about.

As long as she isn\'t laying with her legs open she is a lady after all...all be it a psycho blood bathing permantly PMS\'ed up psycho woman..

The key to making something dead is aking it look limp.

The models aren\'t too bad to just bend into poses jst depends how far you want to go..
key things head shouldn\'t look like it\'s held up by the neck....
no part should be raised up..
preferrably no weapons held but that could be tricky.

hope that helps if your struggling me pm e I have a few spare ones and could kill one see if I pick up anything else from it..

of course despite the aount you see as trophy pieces casualties etc the fluff says daeons dissappear back to the warp when they die..that would be a really easy way to do it..:drunk:

p.s I can type my keyboard had orange juice spilled on it by y little un a while back and all keys keep sticking..

I would imagine they take a while to melt back into the warp - rather than just going \"Poof!\"

But maybe you could interpret it as more the ESSENCE of the daemon dematerialises rather than the phsyical matter...

I suppose it\'s a matter of Newtonian physics and matter to energy transmution, but lets not go into that :p

You could make the daemonette partially submerged in mud or something to \"hide\" the problem areas. Just saw them off, attach the sawed off surfaces to the base and sculpt some mud and dirt around the body. You may still have to alter parts of the visible body, but you can avoid the worst problems this way.

Newton didn\'t know about the matter-energy connection. ;)

Remember that mech paint job that went out not too long ago, where the mech was painted to be \"invisible\" by including the lines on the wall behind it and stuff?

Wouldn\'t it be cool to paint the demonette body fading away? Like solid in the center but the hands and feet becoming see-through?
That would be cool!

@ Ritual - I thought that after I posted it - but Newtonian is easier to spell than Einsteinian... :p

And besides - you smell.

Iv just read deamonslayer, the Gotrek and Felix one, and when the BloodThirster was struck fatally the wound started to melt which then started to spread out over the body, the melted stuff then started to steam and \'hiss\' away as it touched stone and water. The head was the final part to \'evaporate\'
Don\'t know how you would achieve this effect but i reckon vincegamer has had the best solution so far.

mmmm interseting I\'m just playing around casting in clear resin...
maybe certain parts cast i the resin with a little bit of the flesh/blood/overall tone dipped in....mmmmmmm......

OR just get a Dremel or somesuch, and crop off some appendages (half an arm or so) and maybe a bit of the chest (where the deadly wound used to be). Then paint her as you would, with a sharp and stark green/blue highlight on the edges, to emphasize the \"fizzling out\" effect... Might even be an opportunity for some subtle OSL... Whaddya think?

EDIT: Just to make myself a bit clearer, I edited a pic of Chaplain Des\' Daemonettes. Behold my mad MSPaint skillz!

sounds good..I\'m thinking of a similar think on the base of a vampire slayer the whole burning out skeleton jobby blade style...
