Hi all.

This is the latest mini i have been working on.

I have gone for a much more subtle highlighting due to his larger size.
I think its turning out really well.
His custom base is all made and ready to be painted and now I just need to crack on with him.
This is still very early in the project but any problems, likes or dislikes please let me know.

Nigel :)

It\'s a great model, really nice sculpt.
Like the colour so far, good intensity you\'ve got, give us some more pics as soon as you progress.
P.s. horns look good too:)

So you decided to do it then lol
Good, you can forewarn me about any complicaions ;) Looking good so far! Not my choice of colour, but can\'t take that away from you :)

HULK SMASH!

Sorry, couldn\'t resist. Even tho the green wouldn\'t be my first choice for the skin, you\'ve pulled it off very nicely thus far. Did you glaze over a white undercoat? It looks that smooth. Can\'t wait to see it completed.

@ TBS Yes I decided to paint this bad boy.
I know the colour is a bit strange.
I am going for a much more natural look on him and most of the other fallen I have seen have been red. But no green ones. :)
Trust me he will turn out great...... if not I will just moan about it. :p

@Temporary Insanity I sprayed him white and then applied about 20 bloody coats of very very thin dark angels green.
It has made the paint very smooth and \"deep\" but its worth it.
Infact nearly all the paint on him has consisted of little more than coloured water applied in many many layers.

Nice work so far :] I like the colour, and it all looks very smooth and clean, although rather glossy (which can be fixed :D). I also like the horns, very cool

Looking frward to seeing this dude finished!

This is looking very cool. and although its the first time I have seen this sculpt I think you have chosen a very original colour scheme for him.

Does anyone else think this is the Baddie out of the film \'Legend\' ?

Looks great and the green a sweet choice. i couldn\'t resist the legend referance so mine ended up the classic red color.

hell yeh ! the last unicorn, or tom cruise, will die tonight. lol

try some very thin white glazes to bring out the hot spots of light on his skin.
it will aid the contrast without it altering the more subtle style you are achieving.

very thin tho, and only two at most.

looking sweet man.

cool the colour works well and has give me ideas for a Hulk sculpt I\'ve had sat in a cupboard for a while...

This is a big mini and keeping the patience to paint it smoothly like you have is a whole different skill...Keep up the patience and cannot wait to see the progress..

Interesting color choice. I guess Im so use to seeing this guy red that it looks wierd seeing him green. Once you get past that (well once I did) I saw how well painted this guy is. Nice work I would love to see it finished.

Hi again all.
Well I havent worked on this big fella for awhile.
Started on him again a few nights ago.
I have still loads to do on the body and its blending but I made a start on the wings. Iam going for a semi transparent look. Still very much a wip.

I also began work on his base. i am going for a stone edifice look with a well of blood and captured souls. What do you think.
All comments are welcome.

This is looking great! I wondered what had happened to this guy, Tom Cruise has been getting a bit cocky and those unicorns aren\'t going to drink their own blood you know!

That base is fantastic, this is probably a veeeery silly question but have you left enough room for the \'mini\' to stand on it? theres an awful lot of blood there !

Also, would it be possible to have some shots closer up of the Fallen one. The ink washes over white undercoat has worked very well and I will have to try that one day soon.

Cheers, and great mini again

Just a thought for the base is the tips of the hands have the blood on it but the rest of the hands look dry. I would wash them with a very thin red wash and then coat in a semi gloss sealer. Just a thought. Looks very good so far.
