Yes you are right, I was not trying to hide them , bows shamefully,
I have been quiet about it in the forum ...but I have not been able to work alot lately because of RA chemotherapy and we are scraping all we can together to help get by.
What I am trying to paint now is stuff I can sell and I am better at the bigger stuff than the small for coordination sake.
I hope I did not offend you Maya I would not want to do that. It really was not my intention.

I am in the same boat as you Tracy. I have chronic Lyme (something that will never go away and constantly makes my life hell) that has badly flared up again as well as a toddler to care for. Between those health and finances are stretched to where I can\'t continue Wyvern.
I\'m sorry to hear about your problems, but selling items from the exchange struck me as out of the spirit of the exchange. A regift would not have made me look twice.

If I were to give you something, oh say a mini, and you were struggling....
I would wish you to get benefit from my no strings attached gift .... not re gift it as if it were not good enough in the next mini exchange.
How differently people look at the same situation.

Tracy, you are right in that different people look at things differently. I was offended at first because I found it rude that you would sell a gift which was sent knowing your love of dragons and in the hopes that you would either enjoy painting them or regifting them in the spirit of the exchange. You choose to sell them without taking a minute to notify the send of the items, explain the situtation and ask if selling was okay. I\'m very sure that if you had, just like when Orchid Noir was in need, that not only would you have gotten the okay, prevented offending anyone, but you would also have gotten offers of more miniatures from the generous people on CMoN to help you out. It was a matter of courtesy.

quibbling over regifting v. reselling.
I have regifted a few of the minis I’ve gotten in Mes.
I always keep and paint something from the exchange, but my time is also limited and my pile of minis growing, and people insist on sending a half dozen minis or so.
I never send something because I think it’s “not good enough.” On the contrary. I will only send someone a mini that I think is a good mini. ME is not a way to get rid of my crap. However as most of my nice minis have come from exchanges, that’s where they end up going.
And whether it’s regifted or resold, in the end it’s going to someone who will get pleasure out of it so the benefit is there.
If Maya had a mini that I really wanted, and gave it to Tracy, then Tracy sold it to me, Maya would get the pleasure of giving and her gift would go to someone who is very glad to have it. I would get the pleasure of having something I’d been looking for, and Tracy would get some cash. Everyone wins.

Tracy, those Vanguard cards remind me of something my group used to do a LONG time ago when we played.
We\'d shuffle all of the Vanguard character cards together, then at the start of the game, each take one at random.
It was fun to see if the special abilities hindered/helped your deck. Sometimes VERY interesting things would happen.
