Fat bastard needing a good dental plan ...

Hi folks!

Been at it again and thought I would ask your opinion on this particular fat bastard. Yup, its officially become a fetish.

:eek:

Personally, I had a lot of fun with the base and adding the second weapon on, as well as the blood as it is the first time I\'ve really got to play with \'gore\'. Fun stuff.

Votes and comments appreciated!!

...Nice figure FF. The gore is a nice addition,he looks like he\'s having a good time! The skin is a cool tone and the mallet looks better than just a fist I\'d say,and it\'s an excuse to paint more blood eh?!? The only comment I could offer on the painting side is more shading on the apron :cool: cheers

Aaddictive aren\'t they :D

That skin looks beautiful, nice change from the unded look (which i did :rolleyes: )

The second weapon is a nice touch, it fits very well with the model, thought it always seemed like he should have had some kind of weapon in that empty hand anyway.

From the picture the trousers on the back look a bit rough, not a major concern as it\'s about the only thing i could find that wasn\'t on par with the rest,

The meat bucket is pretty sick looking, so i suppose thats a mission accomplished, it\'s really a nice touch, the whole things done to a really high standard, its an 8.5 from me, but i gave it a 9 as i\'m quite partial to ogres :)

keep em\' coming

Nice! Voted and commented :)

I\'m not so fond of the sculpt.. I love the concept though. I.. just felt this huge urge splattering my WIP bretonnian sorceress with blood.

That kinda reminds me of that episode of the Simposns where the dentist plots out what Lisa will look like at 20 without braces.. \"Cool.. she\'ll be a freak!\" :p

A word to everyone about the blood: although the spattering and even coloring is good, blood is semi-transparent, being a liquid. As such, I think either using thinned red or adding a bit of the blade color to it would make it more realistic.. Verzani does this all the tie, which is one of the reasons why I think he shines. Just my thoughts.. ;)

The bloody parts look exceptionally wet and slimey. I imagine that is what a freshly severed arm would look like. (never having seen a freshly severed anything I am not an expert on the topic).

One thing that doesn\'t sit right with me is how white or \"clean\" his teeth and the bones in his skin look. I would use some graveyard earth or even some kind of a brown wash on them to make them look a bit dirty.

Just MHO. :D

You know the old excuse, it looks better in person, applies here but I\'ve got to get my lightbox setup a bit better so that some colors and detail aren\'t obscured.

@BnE

Light \'bleached\' it out a bit, but yeah, I think it probably could of used some more shadowing - I\'m having a tough time with the lighter colors right now.

@Brokenblade

I\'ve GOT to take a better picture of the backside as I\'ve got it highlighted to seem like the britches are faded/worn .. etc in the posterior. I\'ll see about setting up the camera for it tomorrow and see if I can get something better, even if I just post it here.

As for addictive, to a point, yeah, make me wanna toss the buggers sometimes too, especially this one as it seemed to have mold lines that would just jump out.

The gore bucket though, I\'m happy about, just cut a barrel in half and added in water effects and then paint. Might have to try something more \'gross\' down the line.

@Chrispy

Thanks, I\'ll take a look and see if I can find what you are refering to.

@Par

Hey, they clean them on the bones of virgin girls at dawn dontcha know!

@Rest ofya ...
