Agree, skip the redux version. Maybe was it made to be a closer adaptation of \"hearts of darkness\" with all that other stuff in it? The character of Kilgore is the one I identify with the most from any movie or book ever.

Fav scene... lots I guess. I dig on the whole prayer before the battle of the mounds from Conan the Barbarian. I imagine Arnie stoking himself up saying that out loud before he goes into any high level meeting now. Also the big yell from Predator. If I could do that for reals... man. I\'d never use a phone, I\'d just light a bonfire and yell out that big primal style challenge yell and SOMEONE is gonna bring me a pizza for sure. Or else!
I love the opening narration for the Royal Tennenbaums, the foot chase sequence from Casino Royale, The big fight from They Live, anything with full frontal female nudity. Even Kathy Bates in about Schmidt. I\'m sick like that. The attack in the med bay from Aliens, the entire movie Beerfest.... oh man. Episode One erased LOTS of my childhood joy but you can\'t take away from that final lightsaber duel. And Darth Maul vs. Obi Wan was FREAKING cool...
Now I gotta go look through my movie collection. I collect a bunch. Like unpainted figs lots. I got about 500 DvD\'s an maybe 60-70 BluRay. I gotta sell off some DvD before the format change takes any value from them.
Anyway, cool thread! I actually have two movies I have to keep buying, Shawshank Redemption and Apocalypse Now. You can just even listen to those movies without being near a screen and they\'re STILL excellent!
