Rambo (not sure what number, in Afghanistan):

Captain fellow: \"What do you say, Jon?\"

Rambo: \"F*ck \'em.\"

Absolute class!

I have also grown to love Rocky\'s rambling dialogues with Adrian. Brilliant. The older I get the more i think of Stallone.

Otherwise, I love the part of Catch-22 when the fella on the sea-platform is cut in half by the propeller of the pilot coming in to close to buzz him. Dr Daneeka is stood watching with Yossarian, the other feller and the nurse, and when the pilot starts his descent to crash the plane, the feller says \"My God, Dr Daneeka\'s in that plane...\" \"No I\'m not,\" says Daneeka. \"Oh, jump Dr Daneeka, jump!\" the feller goes. \"I\'m right here!\" says Daneeka. The plane crashes. \"Oh no, Dr Daneeka is dead!\"

Brilliant stuff, and as anyone who\'s read the book knows, he\'s deemed dead for the rest of the story and all the officers ignore him. Excellent stuff.

Also a favourite of mine, in Bubba Ho-Tep, is when the black feller tells Elvis that he\'s JFK. Anyone ever seen that? lol

Oh hell so many movies so many great scenes.
Yul Brynner & Steve McQueen; Taking the hearse up to the cemetary in The Magnificent Seven.
Steven McQueen again in The Sand Pebbles Having to shoot his own friend to save him from torture.
Two from the same movie: One Fine Day George Clooney\'s face when Michelle Pfiefer manages to make kids superhero outfits from her handbag contents and when Michelle Pfiefer is getting ready for GC and shaving her legs and cleaning her teeth at the same time.Classic.
But one of the best comical moments and lets face it, it could happen to anyone of us, is this: The Holiday

Hihii... there are so many good films out there.

I have to say that Happiness is my favourite film, i cant say a good scene in it, because its pretty, erhm well... dark.

Shaun of the Dead is also one of my favourite films of all time. The scene when Pete has been bitten and Shaun has broken up with his girlfriend. Probably the best scene ever in a comedy movie hehe...

Other movies i like is the Basil Rathboone as Sherlock Holmes. Good movies, check them out! I think they are on Google video even hehe.

The scene in Braveheart, just before they execute Wallace, when he yells \"freeeeeddoooomm\". The reaction from his friends, the king, and the executioner are fantastically done.

Also, that\'s what he yelled at the cops before getting his mug shot taken from that DUI a while back.

Had about the same result to his career as it did in the film.....

The end of Black Hawk Down and Saving Private Ryan are both pretty emotional/epic.

Those are awsome.

I like it in SPR when they are blowing tanks up with socks!

Apocalypse Now is definitely a top 5 all-time movie of mine ... but my favorite film scene is the dawn of man sequence from 2001 ... so incredibly powerful with no words. And, like the scene you selected from Apocalypse Now, it also has fantastic classical music in the background ... Thus Spake Zarathrustra.

Yeah love it! The first part is from Georgy Ligetis Requiem (Kyrie/Christe part) which is the music associated with the monolith.. and then it goes over to Strauss Thus Spake Zarathrustra. Very different styles yet it comes together so naturally in the end.

While I\'m not a big fan of the movie in general, the beginning of Dawn of the Dead (remake) is fantastic imo. Very unsettling. Johnny Cash \"when the man comes around\" has much to do with it of course. I found a beginning on Youtube but I think it\'s an alternative version.

The opening minutes of Grand Prix, with the mid-60\'s F1 cars being prepped for the Monaco Grand Prix. Turn the sound up and feel the engines, gives me goosebumps.

The rest of the movie is kind of boring though.

Hmmmm, guess I\'d have to say my favorite scene is actually from a mini series and not a movie, close enough tho!

Band of Brothers, Part 3 \"Carantan.\" Towards the end once they have taken the town and are defending against the German counter attack. Then the 2nd armored shows up with their whole dramatic rescue, while the tanks are blasting away at the Germans Winters yells \"Come on boys, let them have it!\" Love that whole scene. :)

So many over so many years. One I do love is the charge of the Rohrimm in LotR. But then I\'ve always liked cavalry.

Band of brothers is by far the best tv series ever.

I heard that speilberg/hanks are making another one based on the war in the Pacific, but i don\'t think it will be as good..

Just watch \'Letters from Iwo Jima\' Superb! \'Flags of our Fathers\' was allright...

Korean war- \'Brotherhood\' (a Korean film), now THAT\'S how to do a war film!

On Korean cinema, the last 10 minutes of \'Old Boy\', VERY VERY twisted!!!

On the Braveheart thing, I find it irritating now. Which is sad because I used to love it.

Yeah man, Band of Brothers is awesome. Me and my platonic boyfriend have been watching it in 1 or 2 episode installments for the past month, only the final one left now :)
