Jetfire from transformers. A complete knockoff of the veritechs from Robotech so a double win for me.

Still have it actually standing in my cabinet.

Other then that, all my old star wars toys. Particularly the snowspeeder with cannon that could light up.

I've got a couple of old (1960's) GI Joes and some accessories, none in original boxes.

A couple of old metal Tanka's - a dozer and a motor grader put up on display.

But my wife - she has a wall full of Barbies.

Hind sights a wonderful thing, but keep the boxes it increases the collectability and the value. Usually i would buy then sell them on for a profit but these two are keepers you will see quality like this once in a blue moon.

the old gi joes boxed are quite valuable too (so are the Barbies but you didnt hear that from me)

You just sent me on a trip of depression Cassar. . .

. . .I used to have the 1984 Voltron complete playset, but sold it (as a 7 yr old) in a garage sale before we were relocated to Germany. . .kicking myself because it really was a classic (and about $400 to replace IF the stores carried them). . .

You know? I can't think of any toys that I had that I'd still want today. Early 80s, so there would be something, but I've drawn a complete blank. Actually a little sad I can't recall a favorite one. Was into Legos and Erector set stuff, so made my own toys with them really.

Well I've been toying with women for years lol a more sensible answer would be Lego, let's face it in terms of longevity it's the shit but also due to niece in law (?) also got back into origami

Bog rocket ..if it wasnt for the photographic evidence i would suspect that to be some kind of euphemism for a poop lol. "Give it 30min before you go in there i just launched a Bog rocket". Just out of interest what decade/year did manta force come out

I saw Big Trak got re-released. Gave me a momentary grin till I realised I wouldn't have a use for it.

Toy I remember fondly was the Eval Kneival thing. Him, all posable, with bike, and a clunky red plastic tool you sat the bike in and cranked to wind up speed for the bikes release. Much cranking with a "nyin Nyin NYIN noise only for the bike to wobble for but a short distance before falling over and realistically unseating the ridiculously posed biker.

yep remember that and all the other stuff that you could get "rocket bike" the pink panther car worked off a simular principle to the red plastic thingy you pulled plastic rip cord through and it would take off like stink. I must be really old or you lot are al being very cautious about revealing your ages, nobody mentioned thunderbirds, or shadow/UFO or captain scarlet the armoured gold transport with the gull wing doors was one of the coolest and fastest cars i had, always used to win the drag races

anybody remember the MASK toys? damn cool back in the day but possibly a bit lame nowadays. used to have one of the first release kenner Y-wing fighters but sold that at a garage sale. still have a lot of my early rogue trader GW stuff though. and also early ral partha minis. miss my old transformers as well though, had sunstreak (autobot countach) grapple (autobot UD cranetruck) and a few others.

I do. They were fantastic! I had a few of them - the Rhino, the gull-wing car, and the truck with turret. Look back on those now and you really wonder, how in the world did anyone think a car could fly just by outfitting it with gull-wing doors - I'd like to see them try on a Mercedes AMG!

But my biggest vice was Masters of the Universe toys. I had almost the entire range. I remember still seeing them chunked into a storage box before going to pre-university, but they had disappeared fully when I came back 2 years later. Wonder what actually happened to them?

Ditto except early 60's. Lego and Meccano were high on the repeat playthings, but nothing I remember as "Outstanding".
The only themed items I had were Action Man and the original Corgi James Bond 007 Aston Martin. That was complete with ejector seat, missiles, pop out machine guns, pop up armour plate and rotating number plates.
Still I've kept part of my best toys, my imagination.
