Favorite Sculpts and the people who make em

I made an agreement with myself that I would buy no more little guys until I was down to one box of unpainted figs. My wife has no such inhibitions for me. She went with me to a game store and dug through boxes of minis and resurfaced with four that she loved. What struck me as odd was that one was by B Jackson and the other three were sculpted by W Klocke. I thought it odd to consistently pick the same sculptor over all the other options. What are some of your favorite sculpts and sculptor?

Well I guess we pick a style of sculps that we like so most likely its going to be by the same sculptor.

As for my favorite sculptors and whos work I wish I could be as good as, they would be in no real order.

My favorite model is the Forgeworld tech priest sculpted by Simon Egan, I love most of his stuff, the problem is I can\'t afford Forgeworld (the majority, the techpriest is pretty inexpensive for Forgeworld). Some local Games Workshops need to have some tournaments for Forgeworld stuff, you Dwarf players out there know that Dwarf Blimp is awesome, and the 40k players know the Gargantuan Squiggoth is awesome no matter what. The only thing I have a problem with when it comes to Forgeworld, the resin, its too fragile!

No, its not odd at all. I consistently find myself drawn to Werner Klocke sculpts, especially his dwarves.

Ah yes, Simon Egan is amazing. I wish they\'d get him doing some more \'normal\' minis, his faces are awesome and attention to detail amazing.

I like Steve Buddle as well, have a few of those awaiting paint.

Werner Klocke is my currant favorite, although I like Chris Fitzpatrick (if hes the one would did the darkelf assassins for GW).

Jes Goodwin is hard to beat for elves and eldar.

Reaper have some terrific sculpters.

I\'ve also been into the cartoonier Rackham sculpts lately. I have no idea who is involved in them.
