My favourite toy was probably the huge wooden castle my uncle made for me (he made my sister a doll\'s house too). It was amazing! We still have it in the loft somewhere. We used to play forts with a bizarre range of figures and a few gerbils. (No gerbils were harmed during the playing of forts!)

The day G.I. Joes started featuring \"swivel arm battle grip\" was one of the high points of my toy-owning career.
Amazon warrior: the home made toys can be the best... my dad made me a few awesome toy guns out of wood (using Tintin as a reference) and they were great. So as a teen, I did the same for my brother (with \"The Punisher\'s War Journal\" as a reference, lol).

I second NSA\'s LEGO Galaxy Explorer. I made so many different things out of it, and could put it back together without using the instructions. I might even still have it, somewhere.

will get a picture of my favourte next time I visit my gran. It was a pinball table built by my granddad and kept me entertained for hours .
Favourite toys were my star wars stuff still got most of em.. and a shedload packaged ..

We used to pinch Mum\'s gardening canes and make them into bows and arrows as well. Goodness knows how we didn\'t lose any eyes!

I looked and looked and google didn\'t offer up my favorite toy. It was an old vinyl baby doll I named Henry. He was the perfect size to put in real baby clothes.
After him I went on to my Barbie. I got one from about 1963. I hated it when they changed to the older \"new\" Barbie. The clothes didn\'t fit mine any more and I hated her face.
I also had a lot of plastic horses. Those reallt realistic looking ones.
