I've decided to go with one of my 5 untouchable mini's as I'm not sure I could do them justice. The model is Jolie, the female scribe from reaper. Will sort out a base for her to sit in and work from there. Once the base is done I'll start posting pictures ^_^

(in case you are wondering my other 4 figures waiting are Perdita from Wyrd, Wazabi from Rackham, Ar-Fienel (v3) from Studio Mcvey and the Ice Queen from Reaper)

@HodRod- Found the one I remembered. It was from the Journey:wrath of demons kickstarter : https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1588487845/journey-wrath-of-demons

Thanks, but I have seen this guy. I'm looking for something like this:

Monkey_King_by_LuigiL.jpg

Still mostly a monkey, with a little bit of human traits. But most I see are mostly human with a little bit of monkey.

ninja monkeys are always cool,.... flying ninja monkeys are even better,.. (i'm gonna have to try my hand at sculpting a line of these,.. maybe that's a thought for a "sculpt-along" project, if anyone else would be interested???)

Sorry your sick Marjedi, hope you get well soon.

Aaaaaahh! So pissed off with the damned Inquisitor right now, I'm tempted to toss him back in the acetone. Every single time, it goes swimmingly well, then one little detail will trip me up but good.

gohkm, when that happens. Set the minidown. Take a deep breath. Then cuss it like your Samuel MotherF***ing Jackson with snakes on a Motherf***ing plane. Afterwards you will reach a bit of a zen moment, then go after it again. No joke. It helps me sometimes.

Yeah, mate, I know exactly what you mean. I stopped for a while, and made myself a milkshake, and then waited for a while. After I had cooled down a bit, I put in some more work, and finally got it done.

Definitely not my best work - I simply couldn't wait to get it done and over with.

Pretty miserable pictures, too - the armour has hints of purples and browns, but they have all washed out.

I have started my warmachine figure , so far it's been chopped up drilled out and posed just waiting on some green stuff to harden then will move on to sticking on the open fire doors that I have moulded and make the base

Shurat so far... the steps up to this point can be followed in the WIP forum :)

painting the armor was fun.
1. GW-base ceramite white, 2-3 layers over the previous buff to get a clean white
2. light ochre pigment
3. light rush (medium ochre) pigment
4. some corrections/rehighlighting with white pigment
5. seal with varnish , found armor not to be contrasty enough, so:
6. R-Natural leather for the deepest shadows.
