Sorry to post another monkey post Have to share my current status quo! AS you can see my compressor totally blew up on me. Screwed the whole model trying to do it anyway. So it's back to base (coat) for me. Still I found the mixture to paint a black base coated miniature to look as if its an unpainted tin miniature. Isn't that great?

Good thing about it is, that I will change everything about the colours and while cursing on the compressor and searching on internet I found inspiration for a great base.

@Hodrod: Not seen a monkeyking like that....maybe you should start an own "searching for miniature" thread?

Well I'm annoyed with myself, I had dug out the GW Masque of Slannesh to work on for this........BUT on close examination this evening, bl@@dy thing's missing two right arms.........FOXTROT

So starting this weekend I'll be using the new Solitaire instead. Two reasons, 1; I dislike the existing advertising Paint-job, 2; Someone kinda challenged me to put my money where my mouth is.
Hope that still stays within the expectations of this?

rules: you pick a model that you hate, have tried to paint a few times, but was always stripped or don't really have the courage to paint it.
start with in on feb 1, finish (or give up) by feb 28 (or marc 1).
aaaand that's all.
In march there will be a possibility for for people to pick one as their favorite, that one wins.

you can post your work in progress in this thread or your own but I think Webmonkey will make a thread for putting finished model pictures in closer to the end date.

Ok thanks for the info!, I usually go crazy and paint in 6 hour blocks anyway so I should be fine I have some Skaven pieces that I have been delaying for a long time now. I will try to get some pics of them before I dust them off.
