feedback needed on kobolds

hi everyone! hows life?
anywhooooo, i need your help. i have 15 kobolds and an ogre primed on the painting bench and ready to go.

i finished these fellows,

a while ago as a prototype for the rest of the warband in hopes of perfecting them, only i havent gotten much feedback. they\'ve been up for weeks and they only have 23 votes ( 165 views). i need some advice before i commit on the rest of the lil\' bastards. i know they,re not spectacular or flashy, but i hope it doesnt make them less deserving of your votes...<goad>.

Hey Funny, nice little bastards you got there, I love to hate them.
As a paintjob, they\'re nice, nice color on the skin, nice weathering too.
As a submission, like you said, there not very spectacular, and as a whole lack lighting, and there is not much to attract attention... this is not a technical flaw, but it might explain why they don\'t get much interest.
A few well taught \'hotspots\' on the metallics could help them pop a bit.

A couple of close up inserts would help I think. the light is too low as well. Anyway I like the way you did the bases. Did the vote thing.

thanks for the feedback fellas! looks like im going to go ahead with it. ill be more careful about lighting conditions, and ill photograph fewer at a time (bigger pics) when i photograph the new ones. the next batch has some more \"spice\" to it; really though i think the entire group will be more impressive than a few scrawny lizards.

I never could quite figure out what a Kobold was...but these work nicely...

I think you are on the right track here..they look great as a group.
