Feedback on a Supplier

Hi

Has anybody got any feedback on Gamer\'s Quest as I ordered some minis from them 3 weeks ago and have had no contact since, admittedly the minis are Ilyad Games minis which I know are not easy to get hold of but I would have thought that if there was a problem they should let me know this and not just keep me waiting. I have e-mailed them and gotten no response either. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Hi Tim.. I ordered from them last week (fri) and received my order on Wednesday this week.

They\'ve been taken over by Tabletop Games I think (the same people who bought GameMart)... there\'s probably a few hiccups with the changeover... I know they recently moved to a new office/storage place, maybe that\'s the problem. You could try calling them I suppose?

Good luck with that, Tim. I\'ve ordered from a few different places and only have ever had problems with one (not naming names, but it\'s a company pretty well known around here for god-awful service).

I just placed my first order with Starplayer for a couple Ilyad minis and a copy of the Ravage French miniature paonters edition.

It was rather painless as they now have a ordering system in english. Ill let you know at the speed of the order when it arrives.

And please do let us know how your shopping experience was? How are they on shipping rates? And, I suppose most importantly, do they take PayPal?

Dont think they take PayPal thoug.. just visa and MC.. but youcould email and ask I suppose. On their front page upper right hand is a little brittish flag.. click it and most things turn to English.

Well I rang today and the lady confirmed what beezlebrush had already told me that TT Games have taken over, she gave me a phone number and e-mail address I phoned but no joy but then it is Saturday and then I e-mailed no response as of yet.

I thought I would post this update to the situation with GQ, having spoke to Jean who used to run GQ she gave me the number fro Dave at Tabletop Games, I eventually got through and he was most apologetic and very helpful. I got my money refunded instantly whilst I was on the phone. The sad thing is that it looks like Ilyad will be getting dropped as the supply is difficult at best, he only has a very limited stock and he has tried to communicate with them about UK distribution and had no replies to his e-mails. So sadly it looks like Ilyad will remain elusive to the UK market :flame: however GQ has got the thumbs up from me. Excellent and pleasant response to my situation.

Tim, you could try order Ilyad stuff from Starplayer! They\'ve got an English version of their site (at least the most vital things are in English in it...).

Thanks Anders, I goave them a quick look over the other day and sawe that they had a page for those like me who should have studied harder at school and learnt the language better.
in actual fact I could probably order on a French page but I would be scared of making a simple error and then not being able to explain to a company as my French is not very good at all.

@tidoco: I had the same thing happen to me with GQ. After a month and a half of waiting, I finally got my refund.

Turned around and ordered from Starplayer, and 9 days later, I got my package. Not too bad coming to Alaska from France.
