Missing angle...

On the green at Sacred Blade, I see a little rat hanging out in the back of the base.

Show us your little furry critter!!

Exellent work Eric! I love the shine on the metals, thankfully I\'ve no need to ask how you did it due to the wip shots (which are a great help,it\'s them we\'re here to see after all) lol She looks awesome completed,my favourite part has to be the skin, you seem to have crammed a few nice tones in there  Nice one Eric

I think I like the skin the best as well, as you see in the WIP\'s I painted it first so I had to be careful the whole way not to mess it up while working on the other parts :p.

I was really trying to do 2 thinks with the skin, first get it nice and soft looking, to convey just a touch of her feminity, and 2nd show the stretch marks and the bruising around the implants with a bluish tone as well.

Thanks for the comment :)

That\'s one of the best bits...

...trying to retain decorum when you\'ve finished the flesh then flicked silver all over it lol

My previosu post on this one seems to have disappeared, but this is beautiful as ever.

As you have WIP\'s how about a little step by step on what you did :D (pretty please, fluttering eyelashes!!)

We\'ll I certainly can\'t say no to that!!

Well it\'s actually pretty simple honestly, there are just a few colors used throughout the whole thing.

The skin is just Elf Flesh, Dark Flesh and Shadow grey, with a very very faint highlight with thinned skull white. I started with elf flesh and built up shadows first with dark flesh, then in the darker shadows and around the mechine parts I used shadow grey, as it\'s quite blue and gave a nice bruised look to the flesh.

The mechanical parts are either black-shadow grey-space wolves grey-white blend, OR black-codex gray-fortress grey-white blend. I knew I wanted it all metallic with 2 different types, but to remain dark I basically used 2 different recepies for a steal look. I then also used a faint scorched brown wash over much of it to give a hint of brown.

tada! a cyborg is born :)

You know, I was all for believing you until that point :D If it was pretty simple I\'d be doing it, but until then its blooming complicated :p

Thankyou very very very much for the how to though, now to get someone to show me how to layer black well (blending don\'t happen here yet !!)
