Female Mini's

Hi everyone

Im looking to paint a girl for a change. im tired of Orks and soldiers and clunk armour. I'm wanting something a little more delicate. This is inspired by the Beer Wench 1989 WIP (which is looking fantastic, check it out if you haven't already)

What model makers sculpt nice female mini's. I had a look at Soda Pop Miniatures but there a little too cartoony for what im after, not quite delecate/sexy enough.

Thanks

Hasslefree have some nice females in their line, both adventurers and less… clothed figures:

John Winters has some really nicely sculpted female minis available through Tin Man Minis:

Dark Sword has some nice female minis based on classic fantasy artworks, several of which were sculpted by Tom Meier

I know there are tons more - attractive female figures are hardly a scarcity - but these are ones I've purchased from recently so were fresh in my memory. Hasslefree and Dark Sword can both be bought through CMON, I think Tin Man Minis may only be available direct.

for delicate females I'd recommend McVey or DarkSword first. but be prepared, the details and such are tiny.

for second run (not as realistic): kingdom death, sodapop, freebooter minis, some of the reaper minis.

if you like simple lines without a sh*tload of 'details': hassleefree and war-griffon (the eolith minis) are the win.

Kingdom Death got several female in their "general" release (one that they re-stock). Otherwise, Nocturna, Studio McVey and Guild of Harmony got some really beautiful female miniatures. Definately worth a look before you make up your mind.

Wow she's impressive. would love to paint her...not sure about the nude one, the gf may slap me :p

That's exactly the one... I did have the nude one but didn't like it and actually gave it away. The one painted by Anne Foerster is amazing and blew my mind... I am lucky to have one painted by Ali McVey which is stunning.

I paint my thumb.
Hasslefree is the best imo.
There kinda cheap too, which is always a plus and the casts I got where a joy to work with.
