Feral Uruk Hai

Just posted two views of a Feral Uruk Hai i finished recently.

Tried some freehand tattoo work, and tried to give depth to the metal elements of the piece.

The sculpt itself wasn\'t great but it was a great challenge to paint.

@sg : i edited my post so the links should work now. thanks! I couldn\'t give you the names because i was using a new set of Vallejo game colours. Mostly these were shades of brown and highlighted using ivory.

metals were done using a combination of boltgun type metal, black, mithril type silver, white and chestnut ink. Blood (which you cant really see) was done using teh standard red gore type colour and black heavily watered down.

I chose to paint this despite the poor sculpt because i see far to many people giving the \'light characters\' of the LOTR miniature range far too much attention, and i liked the idea of trying freehand tattoo.
