Fianna WIP...

Hi there...

Am getting back into painting after an extended break, and as I intend to start posting models here and try and improve I thought it would be a good idea to get some input from the start!

So I\'m working on this Fianna, have got the flesh \"done\" but am kinda unsure about it. Parts of it i\'m pretty happy with but i\'m not sure about the face at all. Her lip looks pretty fat, but there was a bit of a lump on it and if I paint it flesh coloured it looks really odd and if I paint it lip coloured it looks like Mick Jagger.

I had a bit of a \'mare with the face and think in the endless touching up i\'ve lost a bit of the definition? Could probably do with plucking here eyebrows too.

Anyway here come the pics:

Seem to have made a bit of a hash of the darklining on the small of her back too It\'s weird how you only notice these things when you look at the pics.

So any suggestions or criticism? (I can take it!)

I\'m thinking of doing dark leather armour with Ivory patterning and am planning to make my first ever stab at NMM on the sword Probably paint the tabard thing red.

Also if anyone has any good suggestions for a base it would be appreciated, I have no inspiration for this models base

Horrible figure IMO, but the skin is looking good, I would be tempted to take the shading even deeper though.

I think the skin looks good it migt need darker shading as matty suggested but I think I would wait to see how the rest turns out before applying it

looks good, and sine this is still a WIP I don\'t know what you know there is yet to be done, but as mentioned... more shading on the skin, and i also would suggest some more contrast on the lips, one or two higlights would be wrong I think.
